Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: August 17, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TailTwistArt, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use TailTwistArt.
- By passing the 18+ gate and viewing NSFW content, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
3. Accounts
- Sign-in is handled through Telegram. We do not ask for or store emails, passwords, or phone numbers.
- We store only your Telegram account identifier and the profile details you choose to fill in. Your Telegram ID is private and never shown publicly.
- You are responsible for keeping your Telegram account secure.
- You may not impersonate anyone or use misleading handles, avatars, or bios.
4. Zero Image Hosting — How Your Art Works Here
TailTwistArt does not host, upload, store, cache, or resize any image files. Every post is metadata plus a link to an image that lives on a server you control.
- You retain full ownership of your artwork. We never hold a copy of it.
- By posting, you grant TailTwistArt permission to display your linked image and its metadata within the platform for as long as the post exists.
- You are responsible for the server hosting your images, including its uptime, bandwidth, hotlink settings, and any content served from that URL.
- Bait-and-switch is prohibited. Changing the file at a linked URL to show something other than the artwork you posted — especially untagged NSFW, shock content, or advertising — is a serious violation and may result in an immediate ban.
- If your link breaks or your server goes offline, the post shows a broken-link placeholder. Keeping links alive is your responsibility.
- Deleting a post removes it from TailTwistArt only; the file on your own server is unaffected.
5. Prohibited Content
The following is never allowed, whether posted or linked:
- Illegal content, including CSAM, content sexualizing minors (real, fictional, or depicted in movies/media), real-animal sexual content, or anything else violating applicable law.
- Artwork depicting sexualized or suggestive scenarios involving characters who are canonically minors, even if the artist attempts to draw them as aged-up adults or otherwise disguise their age. If a character is canonically a minor, do not sexualize them on TailTwistArt.
- Stolen or infringing work — art you did not create and do not have permission to post.
- Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory content.
- Excessively graphic real-world violence or gore.
- Links to malware, phishing, redirect chains, tracking traps, or anything other than a direct image file.
- Any attempt to bypass the NSFW system or the 18+ gate.
- Baby fur artwork must be SFW. Baby fur and "cub" characters are allowed only when they are fully safe for work and non-sexual. Any NSFW, suggestive, or fetishistic content involving baby fur characters is strictly prohibited.
6. NSFW Content Rules
- NSFW posts must be marked with the NSFW toggle when you submit them.
- Users who leave NSFW disabled in their settings will not see NSFW posts in the feed, on profiles, or in search.
- Posting NSFW content without tagging it may result in removal or suspension.
- Tags must accurately describe the linked artwork. Deliberately mistagging to reach audiences who filtered your content out is a violation.
7. Profiles & Commission Listings
- You may customize your profile with an avatar, banner, bio, pronouns, and commission status.
- Avatars and banners must be SFW, since they appear outside of gallery contexts. NSFW artwork is fine in posts when properly tagged.
- Avatar and banner images are also external links and follow the same rules as posts.
- Commission status and bio links are informational only. TailTwistArt is not a party to, and is not responsible for, any transaction between artists and clients.
8. Moderation & Enforcement
- We may remove posts, suspend accounts, or ban users who violate these Terms.
- We may preserve and disclose information where required by law.
- Popularity is not a shield. Having a large following, being well-known in the community, or having a “popufur” status does not place you above the rules. Every user is held to the same standards and will be treated and held accountable just like anyone else if they break them.
- No action for clout chasers or personal vendettas. We will not remove content or punish accounts simply because someone has a grudge or wants attention. If the content is legal and follows our rules, we will not intervene — no matter how many reports arrive.
- External drama is not our problem. Disputes that started on other platforms are not grounds for action here. We judge users on their conduct on TailTwistArt.
- Abuse of the report system. Repeated false or bad-faith reports aimed at weaponizing moderation may result in action against your own account.
9. Intellectual Property & DMCA
- Only post artwork you created or have explicit permission from the owner to post.
- Do not trace, plagiarize, or rehost another artist's work without consent.
- Because we host no files, valid takedown requests are handled by removing the offending post and metadata from TailTwistArt. The file itself lives on a third-party server and must be removed there by whoever controls it.
- Repeat infringement may result in permanent suspension.
10. AI-Generated Content & Accusations
- AI-generated artwork is not allowed. TailTwistArt exists to support human artists.
- We also do not tolerate baseless accusations or harassment of artists suspected of using AI.
- Witch hunts are prohibited. Publicly accusing artists without evidence may result in action against your account.
- AI detector websites are not valid proof — they are unreliable and frequently wrong.
- If you believe someone is posting AI work, report it privately with concrete evidence (admissions, uncropped generator watermarks, source metadata).
- "Weird hands" and other anatomy mistakes are not proof. Plenty of human artists struggle with anatomy.
11. Support for the LGBTQIA+ Community
- TailTwistArt is an inclusive platform that celebrates and supports the LGBTQIA+ community, especially transgender people.
- Hate speech, harassment, and bigotry of any kind are strictly prohibited, including misgendering, slurs, and discriminatory behavior.
- Trans people have every right to exist in peace here. Attempts to undermine that will not be tolerated.
- Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal depending on severity.
12. Public Drama & Harassment
TailTwistArt is a creative community, not a battleground.
- No weaponized attacks. Using your following or influence to direct harassment or brigading at other users results in immediate moderation action.
- No unsubstantiated public accusations. Do not publicly accuse people of serious misconduct without concrete evidence, including loaded terminology that carries real-world consequences.
- Report, don't accuse. If you genuinely believe someone has done something harmful or illegal, bring it to moderation with your evidence instead of posting about it.
- False or reckless accusations cause irreparable harm and poison the community. They may lead to warnings, suspension, or bans.
- Where possible, resolve personal conflicts privately and respectfully.
13. No Purity Policing
Purity culture is the belief that certain legal creative expressions, kinks, fictional interests, or identities are inherently immoral, and that the people who engage with them should be shamed or driven out. Purity policing is enforcing that belief through harassment, callout posts, blocklists, or organized campaigns. Neither is welcome here.
What purity policing looks like:
- Harassing or publicly shaming artists for legal fictional content you personally dislike.
- Organizing campaigns to pressure others into shunning a user over their fictional interests.
- Building or spreading callout docs and blocklists that target users for legal creative content rather than actual rule-breaking.
- Labeling someone a predator or abuser solely because of the fiction they draw or enjoy.
- Demanding bans for legal content simply because it makes you uncomfortable.
- Gatekeeping who "belongs" based on what they create or who they associate with.
What is not purity policing:
- Choosing not to engage — you can always block, mute, or unfollow anyone for any reason.
- Privately reporting content that actually breaks our rules.
- Holding personal preferences, boundaries, and moral opinions. You just cannot force them on others.
- Respectful critique of artwork on artistic merit.
Purity culture drives artists away and replaces discussion with mob justice. Users who engage in it face warnings, suspension, or permanent bans depending on severity.
14. Freedom of Expression
- We value free speech and artistic expression, and the furry fandom has always made room for the unconventional.
- If you find someone's legal content or interests strange, that alone is not grounds for action. Weird is allowed.
- Free expression does not mean freedom from consequences: harassment, hate speech, witch hunts, and illegal content are still prohibited.
- Your right to create and share ends where it infringes on the safety, dignity, and rights of others.
15. Zero Tolerance: Zoophilia, Nazi Imagery, and Hate Groups
- Zoophilia and bestiality content is strictly forbidden, including any media depicting sexual activity with real animals.
- Nazi symbols, imagery, and themes are prohibited, including swastikas, SS insignia, and related iconography.
- Content or groups associated with known hate groups are not welcome.
- Violations result in immediate removal and may result in suspension or a permanent ban.
16. Your Data & Account Deletion
- We store metadata only: your profile, your posts and their links, tags, favorites, and follows.
- Because we host no images, we hold no copies of your artwork.
- Settings includes a Delete Account action that immediately and permanently erases your profile, posts, and related metadata with no grace period. It cannot be undone.
17. Service Availability
- TailTwistArt is provided "as is", without any warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. It is a passion project and will be improved continuously.
- We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
- We are not responsible for external servers that host linked images, or for content served from them.
18. Limitation of Liability
- TailTwistArt is not liable for damages arising from your use of the service or from third-party content reached through links posted here.
- You are responsible for your own interactions, content, and transactions.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TailTwistArt after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
